DRC - Mission Strategic Support Program

SoCha, LLC is contracted to provide technical and advisory services to the United States Agency for International Development in the Democratic Republic of Congo (USAID/DRC) on the 5-year Mission Strategic Support Program (MSSP). The purpose of MSSP is to provide these services in planning, designing, conducting, disseminating, and learning from monitoring and evaluation of the Mission’s portfolios assisting the mission with strategy and activity-level performance monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including conducting data gathering and verification, data visualization (including Geographic Information Systems), data quality assessments, impact and performance evaluations, assessments, organizational learning, and collaboration among USAID’s implementing partners. The activity will also implement a capacity-building agenda for the mission and Implementing Partners, developing a baseline of M&E knowledge within the mission and tailoring a curriculum to provide skills development to mission staff.

Kenya - Mission Support for J2SR

We are proud to be the Implementing Partner of USAID/Kenya and East Africa (KEA)’s Mission Support for Journey to Self-Reliance Pivot (MSP). Our role is to pioneer the USAID/KEA’s pivot to the Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR). We support 5-year strategic planning, lead country and culture-specific collaboration and learning workshops, and construct holistic monitoring and measurement frameworks to guide programming and implementation. Our nimble work order system allows equitable social change to unfold faster. MSP is both a support contract and a core learning mechanism for the USAID/KEA Mission. MSP supports USAID/KEA across all technical areas, with travel across Kenya and the East Africa region. MSP partners with local organizations and firms and build local capacity to drive an ambitious development agenda throughout the region.

Zambia - MEL Platform

The USAID/Zambia Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Platform (Z-MELP) Activity, implemented by SoCha LLC, began work on June 8, 2020 and will continue until June 7, 2025. The purpose of Z-MELP is to improve program performance management and efficiency at all levels, to help the Mission meet Agency requirements, make improved informed strategic and management decisions around program implementation, and advance Agency learning. In addition, Z-MELP will provide the Mission access to technical and advisory services to design and carry out specialized multiple, third-party monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) tasks, including practices, processes, and requirements that support Program Cycle implementation. Furthermore, through Z-MELP, the Mission will achieve efficient MEL functions to enhance data-driven decision-making and strategic steering of the Mission’s Country Strategy.
